The Hidroleaf project consists of developing and validating an integrated system for the sustainable # production of horticultural plants in sea containers
The aim is to cultivate in containers with energy-saving LED lights, and to make use of 100% of the water and fertilizers. This solution allows to cultivate anywhere in the world since the climatic conditions do not matter.
Hidroleaf is a collaborative project between entities and companies in the Region of Murcia. It is led by the Murcian agricultural companies, members of AgritechMurcia, Ritec and Rufepa, which have a great deal of experience in solutions for protected crops in greenhouses.
The University of Murcia, Odin Solutions S.L and Cebas -CESIC, also member of AgritechMurcia, are also participating.
Hidroleaf project has been financed by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness and by the FEDER fund.
