On May 20, AgritechMurcia actively participated in the conference “Science and Technology at the Service of Agriculture”, organized by CEBAS-CSIC, the Cajamar Cooperative Group and BIOVEGEN. The event brought together institutions, research centers and leading companies in the agri-food sector to promote public-private collaboration and highlight technological innovation as a key driver for agricultural sustainability.
Within this framework, two member companies of the AgritechMurcia group stood out: Lucas Biotech and Microgaia, both with a leading role in Block II: Nutrition and Health, focused on biotechnological solutions that improve soil health and plant nutrition.
Microgaia: microbiology at the service of the soil and the plant
Microgaia presented its advanced microbiological solutions, based on specific microbial consortia that improve soil structure, increase nutrient bioavailability and strengthen the immune system of plants. Its approach combines science, biotechnology and sustainability, contributing to a regenerative agriculture that cares for the basis of the agri-food system: the soil.

Lucas Biotech: biotechnological products that transform and nourish
For its part, Lucas Biotech unveiled its portfolio of biotechnological products designed to transform crop productivity by stimulating natural processes and strengthening the plant against abiotic and biotic stresses. The company emphasized its commitment to solutions based on cutting-edge science, with a direct impact on agronomic efficiency and respect for the environment.

Innovation with impact and global vision
Both companies are clear examples of the potential of the AgritechMurcia group, which acts as an international reference platform for technology transfer applied to the field, connecting companies, science and territory. Their participation in this event reinforces AgritechMurcia’s commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the field of sustainable agriculture, innovation and protection of natural resources.
The event also featured networking activities, B2B meetings and a round table on financing and acceleration of agri-biotech projects in the Region of Murcia, consolidating an ideal collaborative environment to promote new projects between the scientific and business fields.
